Application of Magnetron Sputtering:

Magnetron sputtering is one of the most functional techniques in the PVD area. It primarily includes DC magnetron sputtering and MF (medium frequency) magnetron sputtering.

• DC Sputtering: Used for direct sputtering involving argon gas to improve ionization of the metal target. Common applications include plastic disposable silvering cutlery, high-end cosmetic parts, solar collection tubes, and mirror manufacturing.
• MF Sputtering: Primarily used for decorative purposes and technical coatings for tools, molds, and punches. It provides a wide range of colors and produces fine ions, often used as secondary layers over cathodic arc deposition.
